Training Camp '08

Building a place for transformation, equipping and sending

God has been incredibly faithful to Windsor Community Church since our
inception in 2001. He took a small seed of around 80 people from Mountain View Community Church in Fort Collins and grew us into a church body of approximately 250 people. He has guided our footsteps and allowed us to share in the joy as many lives were radically transformed for His glory.

Our church home was destroyed on May 22nd by a tornado. We believe that God is calling us to build a new home at a new location in Windsor. This building and location will better facilitate our desire to faithfully serve God and effectively proclaiming Him in our community. This home will enable us to see even more lives transformed, equipped for life and ministry, and sent out to multiply healthy churches around the world.

To raise funds for this new building, we are conducting a four-month capital
campaign called TRAINING CAMP ‘08. The theme "training camp" was selected because one of our primary desires as believers is to strengthen our relationship with the Lord so that He can prepare us to be effective members of his team.

“…train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come” (1 Timothy 4:7-8)

The campaign and the building are not our goals; they are simply tools to further prepare us for our service to God. Our hope is that the "training camp" here at Windsor Community Church will be a place where lives are transformed and equipped through the living and active Word of God. It will be a place where we can cry out to God in total dependence, recognizing that He is our deliverer and provider. As we grow in our spiritual walk with Him, He will draw closer to us. We will taste His sweetness and witness firsthand His majesty and faithfulness. Join us as we prepare for the race that God has set before us and experience the joy of the journey.
