The greatest hope of all Christian parents is to see their children come to serve Jesus Christ as their savior. Most parents would climb the highest mountain or slay the fiercest dragon should it guarantee their children’s salvation. Yet salvation is the work of God's grace through the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. However, we (parents) are not powerless in this process as we share the good news of the gospel to our children through the Old and New Testaments. Romans 1:16 tells us that the gospel is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.
Have confidence parents, that as you read and discuss God’s Word, the Holy Spirit works to draw your children closer to Him and open their minds to understand the life-giving message
of the gospel. Remember, our job is to plant the seeds and water—God is the one who makes the seeds grow.
God’s Word, when hidden in our hearts as children (and adults), is used again and again in our lives. The Spirit of God brings His Word back to our minds helping us in our walk with God and enabling us to encourage others.
Not only do these lessons correlate with the WCC Kids classrooms on Sundays, they are simple to use, require only 10 minutes a day, cover all ages and the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
