    • What stood out to you most from the sermon? Why?
    • Would you characterize yourself as one who seeks to understand others or seeks to be understood?
    • How would you describe unrighteous anger and can you recognize it when it wells up inside you?
    • Have you considered how your social media posts might produce worry or anger in the hearts of fellow believers?  Have you considered how your posts might affect your witness to non-believers?
    • Do you “humbly receive” God’s Word and allow it to read you, inform you, guide you, deepen your faith, purify your hope and convict you of sin?
    • Is God’s Word the first and the last source of “news” you go to when trying to make since of your surroundings?  Based on your answer is their evidence of this in your disciplines and behaviors?
    • According to James, where is blessing found?
    • What does God have for you specifically from this section of scripture?
