"Jesus loves the little children…” If you have heard that old song and feel the same way, maybe you’d like to be a part of the Nursery or Children’s Ministry team. We are in need of more servants in these areas. If you enjoy the little ones, please consider serving in the Nursery once a month or so. Contact Josh Thimgan. If you would like to teach bigger kiddos and you have taken the Biblical Distinctives class, please consider rotating in as a part of the Children’s Celebration classes. Questions? Contact Greg or Noelle Johnson.

In honor of Ginny McBurney who has greatly benefited from the contribution of blood donors, WCC is hosting a Blood Drive here on Sunday, November 9, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Your donation helps increase the inventory available for patient needs.

If you would like to see more information about donating blood, such as who's eligible, and what you should do on that day, then CLICK HERE.

It takes all types, and we need yours!

Is the Bible written in the words of men, or in the words of God himself?  Are the Holy Scriptures influenced by the customs and practices of ancient human cultures, or are they product of the Holy Spirit?  Perhaps the answers will surprise you.  Our approach to these types of questions drastically influence the way we approach and interpret the biblical text.  In this seminar on biblical exegesis, we will look at some of the mentalities and investigative tools that will strengthen our ability to be faithful interpreters of the Bible.

Please join us from 6:15 – 8:15 p.m. on November 10th as Jeremey Houlton will teach and encourage us to be faithful interpreters of the bible.  This seminar is open to all serious students of God’s Word, men and women alike!   If you are interested, please sign up online by clicking HERE.  If you have questions, please call Pastor Dan.

Jeremey is a pastor of Choice City Church in Fort Collins a member church of the Crossway Chapel family of churches.  Jeremey and his wife, Amy, have been members of Mountain View and the Crossing, and have been associated with the Crossway movement since 2001.  He has an M.A. in Biblical and Pastoral Studies from Bethlehem College and Seminary, and an M.A. in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton Graduate School.  He pastored New Hope Fellowship in Tarrytown, NY, for three years before moving his family back to Colorado in 2013 to join the Crossing and prepare to plant a church in Fort Collins.  They planted Choice City Church in Fort Collins in August of 2014.

Mark your calendars for Saturday evening, November 22, for the next WCC talent show. Anyone, young and old and in between, is welcome and encouraged to sign up and showcase your unique talent! A dinner catered by our WCC youth will be served and proceed will go to retreat scholarships and Jeremy Soronen’s trip to Africa.  Details and sign-up sheets coming soon!
